School Uniform

• White Polo shirt (logo optional)
• Danegrove navy blue cardigan, sweatshirt or jumper with school logo
• Grey school trousers/ school shorts/ skirt/ pinafore (no leggings)
• Black school shoes (plain, no logos/white soles etc.).
• Grey tights or socks
• Optional - Danegrove fleece, Danegrove waterproof jacket

Summer Uniform

• As above or light blue/white checked dress + white tights/socks (no leggings).

Footwear

Open-toed sandals, flip-flops, high tops, boots and heels are not considered suitable footwear for school. Both boys and girls must wear sensible, plain black shoes (no logos/white soles etc.).

For health and safety reasons, hair that is shoulder-length or longer must be tied back.

Large, excessive hair accessories should not be worn; however, small hair clips or plain headbands/hairbands (black or in school colours) are acceptable.

Head coverings, head scarf, patka, kippah etc. (navy, grey or white only - no embellishments and of a reasonable (safe) length).

The only permitted jewellery that may be worn is:

• One pair of stud earrings
• A sensible wristwatch (for safeguarding purposes, not a smartwatch)

Please no necklaces, bracelets, bangles, rings, charms etc. Children will be asked to remove them.

A small number of faiths require religious jewellery that may not be removed, such as the Hindu Rakhi (a cotton bracelet) and Sikhism Kara (metal bracelet, one of the 5 Ks).   In these circumstances, children will be allowed to wear the jewellery to school.  We ask that on PE days these items are covered with a sweatband and secured by tape. 

Children are not allowed to wear any make-up, including nail varnish, false nails or visible temporary tattoos.

Pupils wearing make-up will be asked to remove it.
