Welcome to Reception

Welcome to Reception where your school journey begins. During the year, Mrs Vald, Miss Freeman and Mrs Zavros, along with the other members of staff, will encourage independence, curiosity, fun and exploration. Our wonderful garden allows us to discover minibeasts, plant seeds, investigate naturally forming ice in the winter and discover the joy of rolling down a hill. Whilst we are having fun and getting messy, we will also learn to read, start to calculate and learn about interesting things such as the local park, different forms of transport and what types of birds might be flying across the sky.

Hedgehog, Fox and Squirrel classes are looking forward to a great year.
