Welcome back year 2!

Hello Year 2, it is fantastic to have to you here. We are so excited to welcome you into our year group and are really looking forward to embark on this journey with you.

For most of you it’s been a while since you’ve been at school, but don’t worry the Year 2 team will spend the start of the year getting to know you better, familiarising you to the new routines and catching up with the learning you missed out on.

The day will run very similarly to how it did in Year 1: the mornings will be a combination of literacy and numeracy, while the afternoons will be for subjects such as Art, PE and Science. Some other things will be slightly different, but we will be guiding you every step of the way.

We know that things in the world have changed and your well-being is paramount to us. We will endeavour to create a safe, creative and enjoyment environment which will allow you to make the most of your time in Year 2.
